Emel Shoes are beautifully handmade from the finest Italian leather and are uniquely handmade by professional artisans who take care of your childrens feet from the beginning of the manufacturing process. 

Whilst style and fashion remain important, what counts most is the childs comfort. Every 2 years Emel shoes are tested by the institute of mother and child in Warsaw. Most recently, they received the highest rating in all categories. The primary aim is to ensure comfort, enabling childrens feet to grow and develop in a healthy way.

Hand assembly is critical because no machine is able to sense effectively the delicate tension to be applied during production.

All leather used by Emel is free of carcinogenic chromium.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR CHILD'S FOOT:

1 - Draw a straight line down the length of a piece of paper.
2 - Place the paper on a hard flat surface alongside a wall. Have the child place their heel against the wall with their longest toe and heel centred on the line. Mark the paper on the line at the tip of longest toe.
3 - Measure both feet as they may vary in size.
4 - Measure the distance between the end of the paper and the toe mark in centimetres. Add no less than 0.6 cm and no more than 1.2 cm to your result to make allowance for foot growth. Next use our sizing guide below
5 - Measure both feet and fit shoes to the larger foot
